With what seems like new food and product recalls every day, some being fairly awful it’s a chore to keep up with, especially with young kids.
An app I can scan the barcodes of my food or take a picture of my receipt / pantry and it tracks what I own. For produce it auto removes them from my list after X days (assuming they have gone bad already or been eaten).
If a recall hits I get a notification.
Then expand out to children’s toys / vehicles / etc.
Could go even further and track expiration dates. Tell me 30 days before my canned tuna expires.
It’s fairly simple and maybe I’ll build it just for me eventually if nobody else does. (maybe it already exists?)
