Cannot Open changes from copilot chat on remote-ssh session

Type: Bug In a Remote SSH workspace, clicking a file in Copilot Chat’s changed files list opens an editor showing: "The editor could not be opened because the file was not found." The file exists on the remote host and opens successfully using Quick Open (Ctrl+P / Cmd+P) or Explorer. Trace logs (on window) show that clicking the chat change opens a file:/// URI instead of the vscode-remote:// URI used by the working editor. This causes VS Code to look for the remote Linux path on my local Mac. Steps to reproduce Connect to a Linux host using VS Code Remote SSH. Open a repository on the remote host. Ask Copilot Chat to create or modify files. Click a file in the chat’s changed files list. Open the same file through Quick Open or Explorer for comparison. Expected behavior The changed-file entry opens the file or its change diff in the current remote workspace, preserving the remote URI scheme and SSH connection identifier. Actual behavior The changed-file entry opens a local file:/// URI and reports that the file does not exist. Quick Open and Explorer correctly open the remote file.
