### Skill setup-matt-pocock-skills ### Version or commit 1.3.2 ### Harness and version VScode local agent via plugin ### Model and effort GPT-6.1 Sol on medium on fresh context ### What happened When setting up the repo, the agent interprets the domain, issue-tracker, and triage-labels files as templates. It then chose to condense down the documents in a way that alters the agents effectiveness. I noticed this when agents kept making statements about "work is resolved by a comment and closing each ticket; PRs are not the triage surface." and interpreting that to mean changes don't go through a PR. The summarized version lost the original meaning of that section as to if external PRs should be treated the same as an issue for the purpose of the triage skill. ### What you expected I would expect a template to have clear what can be replaced/summarized vs must be kept exactly. Or the files should not be referred to as templates and clear direction to use the files as-is. I also noticed normally the agent confirms the files before writing them, but this time it didn't. I would expect more consistency between repos if these files were more deterministic during setup instead of agent rewrites. ### Checks - [x] This issue is about one problem. - [x] I searched open and closed issues for a duplicate.
