[!TL;DR] I strongly advise against using this AI powered workspace application. I loved and used Notion for years (despite certain limitations), but the egregious pivot toward an AI focused identity has become incredibly detrimental to the overall user experience. ___ Notion was initially a workspace I loved and used extensively (for work/academics/personal) for years. However, their decision to push numerous incredibly *intrusive* AI features on top of replacing essential UI components with AI toggles, have really left me with immense frustration. Their identity has become almost entirely focused toward AI while neglecting their core pre-existing features. I often used to recommend/introduce others to Notion (including the agency I prev worked at), and even built templates for these individuals and businesses. I am incredibly disappointed in what it’s become and am actively transitioning to an alternative system. Personally, this app and its team are no longer worth supporting considering their intense love for such an inhumane system of AI implementation, and consistent disregard for its user experience.
